Every one was sleeping while dad went to work. And when he had been gone for three hours mom finally got them all up. No one wanted to get up .But after a while it was fine. They all eat breakfast then started on chores and after chores is school which takes mostly all day long but a little thing like mom saying they can watch TV then they were as quick as lightning well all right not as quick as lightning but pretty quick .Then mom would make dinner and then dad would come home when they were all heading to bed.

Morning wake up call.

Getting Rosie up in the morning was the hardest work. Ever since the baby had been born, Six -year-old Rosie had taken to staying in bed while mother attended to the baby in the next room.Brother Lionel had an idea. I know how to get her up, mom, he said one morning.
Rosie its time to get up! he called in one minute, she answered. But he new that his dawdling sister would be lying in her bed for more than a few minutes.A big smile spread across his face as he energetically ran down the stairs to the kitchen, remembering the bas-ket of crabs he had caught the day before. he liked crabbing in the Chesapeake bay, down at the docks after homeschool lessons were through. He liked being out of the house and in the warm September sun. the salty sea air smelled deliciously of seaweed. The fact that his mother always appreciated what he caught, and fried up the best Maryland crab cakes, was an added bonus.

Lionel was in high spirits. he Worked quickly and quietly, all the while suppressing his urge to laugh. From the dining room he collected candle stubs


Lionel took the crabs one by one and carefully lighted the candle stubs .he put the lighted candle stubs on the crabs and faced them in to Rosie's room .The crabs walked straight in to Rosie's room Rosie opened her eyes as she heard the click clack of the crabs as they opened and shut there claws
Rosie screamed and jumped up on her bed Lionel walked in her room and picked her up and brought her in the dining room .were mother was then Lion went to go pick up the crabs after that they all went to go have some lunch. and then Right then and there Rosie promised that she would get up when she was told

Alligator ally

This is a picture of a alligator its a really good picture. Well clearly its only part of the head but its better then some pictures of alligators. I think he was probably to hot to come out. he just won't show him self. All I want to know is how long he is and how big he is. I could never live were he's living. Well I no I'm not an alligator but it just looks dark and gloomy.There

Lunar eclipse

A lunar eclipse just might happen once in a while but when it does it's really neat. I have only seen one and it was really cool. I liked watching the other planet go over the moon, I really enjoyed it.


What is a lunar eclipse?

A lunar eclipse is when the earth goes in front of the moon so that you can't see the moon. But it takes about three hours for the earth to cover all of the moon. It doesn't seem true but it is.

So look out for the next lunar eclipse.

This is a rose my sister took. Abby took this picture. The best thing that I liked on the walk was the nature and taking pictures.
